What’s your approach to justify all that you are able to
achieve and those that you may not be able to handle in a world where you
rationalize nearly every single aspect of almost everything that you run across?
We get closer to god, closer to our soul and closer to our aspirations but we’re
detaching away from the little things that are yet important, those small
things which might seem insignificant to our productivity perhaps, but
eventually these so called ‘trivial’ things is what makes up our life, doesn’t
it? Take your career aside for now, take your conquests into the back seat and
all of the materialistic belongings that you or your family might possess out
of focus, immerse yourself into the realistic unknown of what’s truly yours,
and the only aspect which nobody else can maneuver your control over, that is,
the peace within you, the love that you have for your near ones, or the vision
that you see for mankind, independent of all the temporal emotions and
circumstances (including the ‘things’).
We get so busy living up to all the
extrinsic philosophy of soothing our conscience without paying attention to
these minute details that in reality are responsible for the grand picture of
our lives. Yes, the world is not fair; you see injustice happening all around,
people bugging each other, or you not getting what you deserve and nepotism
smashing heads, so on. However when you start going deep you begin to notice
that anything, good or bad shapes us in some or the other way, though it might
not be direct or apparent in its action, but the consequences make it
transparent for its comprehensibility. Most often it’s the small things that we
ignore; these are the same ones that come to haunt our credibility. Health for
example can be taken as an analogy to
describe all those things which are important and necessary but the point is,
you can’t win it through a contest, you can’t be certain of it, and neither can
you exchange it via money or stuffs. It’s simple, you gotta take care of it and
it ‘stays’, nothing more is required, same can be said about our relationships;
we might take it for granted considering it will stay, but I’ve come to realize
that it simply doesn’t by default, it’s a lot of work, a lot of understanding
and a hell lot of patience.
Workaholics might deny the necessity of the so
perceived ‘small things’, but eventually you don’t remember how much you
worked, or how many victories you spurred, or how much your percentage was (not
saying that they are not important but they are not the ‘only’ objectives of
your life), yes, they do form a part of why we are here, but our lives are more
meaningful when we take care of the small things ‘in addition’ to the necessary
obligations that we might have. It’s said don’t be so busy making a living that
you forget how to live. Small things are not as trivial as they seem like; in
fact it’s these which make us ‘truly’ happy.
Well said bhai. I remember our English teacher often used to say that if you take care of small things then big things will take care of it itself . But sadly most of us are always waiting for big things to happen firstly then only we start giving importance to small things .
ReplyDeleteAnyway better late than never , we can still improve . Keep writing bhai .👏👏☺
Yes yes that's the truth.I always find happiness in small things and remain happy 😊
